Wow. Those people were crazy. When were these taken - early 80s? Actually, my parents would have done something like that.
I remember when I first got my period (which I hated and kept wishing I had been born a boy instead). I soon after learned that females should not go into the woods during their periods. To me, it was proof that bears were also misogynistic bastards.
